DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION
Our hosting service is based on individual domain names: each
account or virtual server is built around a name registered
under a top level domain such as .com, .net, .org or .ca or .uk.
As an alternate solution, a web site can be built around a
third level domain of the type subdomain.domain.com.
You can use any US or national domain of your choice: our servers
actually host more than 20 different national domains. However,
we can only register your US domains: if you prefer your national
domain, you have to regsiter it yourself.
If you have a domain name registered for your web site, you
can transfer it to Blue Host at no cost. We will activate your
account and set up your site with no delay. If you don't have a
domain name, your have to regsiter one. Make your choice, then
check if the selected name is free: type in your domain name,
without the www. or any other prefix in the name field of the
Whois box below. Be sure to include the top level domain suffix
(.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info). You can try several domain names.
If the domain name is free, you are suggested to
register it
without delay: your preferred domain name could be taken
by tomorrow!

The regular registration fee for .com, .net and .org, .biz and .info
domain names is $70.00 for the first two years, and $35.00 per
year afterwards. Fortunately Blue Host can register your domain
names for a more attractive price: you pay only $17.50 per year.
Also, .com, .net and .org domains can be regsitered for 1, 2, 5 or 10
years, while .biz and .info domains should be registered for two
years initially.
